Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Conversation Collection app and related services. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are under the required age, use is permitted only with parent or guardian permission where allowed by law.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. App Use and Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the app for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activities.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with app services.
- Misuse features in ways that violate applicable law or third-party rights.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid features may be offered as monthly or yearly subscriptions.
- Billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play (and related providers).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.
- Refunds are governed by the store platform's refund policies.
5. End User License Agreement (EULA)
These Terms incorporate and serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the app. For apps downloaded from the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA will govern with respect to your use of the app obtained from the App Store.
6. Purchases, Trials, and Changes
We may change pricing, features, or plans over time. Where required, changes will apply on your next billing cycle. Free and premium features may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice where legally required.
7. Intellectual Property
The app, brand, design, content, and software are owned by The Conversation Collection (or licensors) and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of notes or content you create in the app. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to operate and improve the service.
9. Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep the app available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, outages, or third-party platform issues may impact access.
11. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Conversation Collection is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the app.
13. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
